As the name suggests, Auro Kitchen & Bar located at Aurobindo Road, Hauz Khas has an immense pleasing aura to serve its customers with. It might get tedious for some to climb up those stairs to reach to the top but it’s actually where you are destined to be.
The sprinklers & the greenery set up the perfect environment on the terrace along with the delectable dishes that this place has to offer.
The list is as follows :
1. Prawn Chops – Crispy potato layered bites filled with spicy chopped prawns – a unique experiment done with prawns and no doubt, it was indeed the best beginning for our meal.
2. Paneer 65 Slider – A spicy paneer patty takes all the credit of this juicy burger. Filled with cheddar cheese & pickled onions, it is actually something for your plate to get dressed up with.
3. Mushroom Ranikhet – Talking about this thin crust pizza, the only drawback is the oil that rests on the crust of this pizza. Cheese plays a key role when we talk about a pizza and what if one finds an ample amount of oil floating above the cheesy layer? So, yes, this dish really needs to be worked upon.
Coming onto the main course section, we had the Ghee Roast Chicken. Now as the name suggests, it had that flavor of oil and ripeness to it. The only thing that needs to be pondered upon here is that the chicken isn’t flavorful at all. The outer layer is only where the taste rests upon.
What impressed us the most was the Bar section. The bartenders really know what they’re doing & produce something really good in no time.
If you’re up for a flavorful & a refreshing cocktail, Union is the one to get your hands on. It has the perfect essence of mint & pomegranate.
For Gin lovers, our personal recommendation is The Botanist which is an infusion of the popular Earl Grey & Gin with lavender syrup stirring up the taste of this drink. Finally, it is topped with lavender foam which indeed, gives a beautiful look to your glass as well.
Planning to go out this weekend? Head over to Auro Kitchen & Bar and make the most out of it?
