Chaayos recently came out with it’s summer menu and we couldn’t wait getting our hands on it and feeding ourselves. Living true to one’s expectations, this place has always been experimenting with tea and comes out with something really good everytime.
Talking about the list of their summer menu and what to get your hands on :
We tried the following dishes :
1. Kulhad Matar Kulcha
2. Kaala Chana Chaat
3. Loaded Chicken Cheese Max
4. Paneer Thepla Tacos
5. Palak Patta Crispies
6. Thandi Chai
7. Chikoo Shake
8. Fruit Factory Cake
9. Blueberry Lemon Cake
Honestly speaking, the taste of Kulhad Matar Kulcha & Kaala Chana Chaat didn’t stir up well. What one usually expects from the famous street food, Matar Kulcha , that authentic flavor couldn’t be seen anywhere in this particular dish. Be it the Matar in Matar Kulcha or Chana in Kaala Chana Chaat, they didn’t seem like they were cooked properly. Considering the Kaala Chana Chaat to be put down onto that list on a healthy note, this dish surely needs improvement.
Loaded Chicken Cheese Max (Highly Recommended) – Hola Chicken Lovers!! As the name goes, dive into this cheesy pool of chicken sneaking around that little doughy couch :p Would surely pay a visit to Chaayos just for this particular dish.
Paneer Thepla Tacos – Perfect fusion of both the dishes : Gujarati Thepla & Mexican Tacos. Filled with paneer, this dish has all you need for a perfect snack for your evening.
Palak Patta Crispies – Can you recall the famous Palak Patta Chaat ? That’s right. With that tangy flavor of sauces and topped with some bhujia, this particular dish would surely live upto your expectations and definitely needs to be on your list if you’re planning a visit to Chaayos.
Thandi Chai –
Me : Can I have a frappe ?
Chaayos : But Sir, we do experiments with chai.
Me : Then give me something refreshing like a frappe.
Chaayos : Mention not. Here’s what you need Sir! A tea frappe. We call it Thandi Chai.
A must have after a tiring day to soothe you in this scorching heat of summer.
p.s. Just a made up conversation 😀
Chikoo Shake – Kudos to Team Chaayos for this drink as they insisted me to try this particular shake. And no doubt, you can find that smooth texture and the sweetness of chikoo in this particular drink.
Lastly, to wrap up our summer evening, Chaayos served us these two sweethearts : Fruit Factory Cake & Blueberry Lemon Cake. It’s something that one can always get his hands on while having a cup of tea and can always crave for more. The softness of these two cakes and the fresh fruity flavor provided by those cherries is what all you need.
